Our balloting committee has reviewed and validated the results. 
Ratification Election 2, May 2026
Yes, I support the ratification: 127 votes (67.6%)
No, I do NOT support the ratification: 56 votes (29.8%)
(5 individuals abstained) (2.7%)

A total of 188 members voted (of 362 eligible)

Summary of proposed changes to our Collective Bargaining Agreement, if ratified effective 01 July 2026
 

Article I (TAs dated 3.17.26; 4.3.26; 4.16.26):

  • 1.1.10 Overload definition updated (TA 3.17.26)
  • 1.1.13 New definition introduces the Labor Management Committee for resolving issues between the Association (AAUP) and the administration. Two members are appointed by PVPAA and two by the Association president. (TA 4.16.26)
  • 1.7.6  Dues payroll deduction form is removed from the MA and will be available on the AAUP website.

Our Board of Trustees must think we are significantly above average, as our senior administrators have compa-ratios far above our peer institutions (117 to 143%)!; although our faculty are only in a normal average range of 103 to 109% of the median (3 to 9% above the median). Hmmm. Which is it, are we excellent or just average?
